MEDPIA / PRIVACY

Privacy, with clarity.

This Privacy Policy explains how Medpia handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or use a Medpia service.

LAST UPDATED

This policy is a working website policy. Before launch, have legal counsel review it against Medpia’s company structure, contracts, products, and the countries where it operates.

1. Who this policy is for

This policy applies to visitors of medpia.co, people who contact Medpia, and authorized users of Medpia products and services. When Medpia processes patient or clinical information for a healthcare organization, that organization may control the data and its own privacy notice may also apply.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact information: name, work email, phone number, organization, role, and details you include in a demo or support request.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, device and browser details, approximate location, referral information, and security or diagnostic logs.
  • Service information: information provided by an organization or user to configure, operate, secure, or support a Medpia service.
  • Communications: messages, feedback, and records of interactions with our team.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve our website and services, respond to requests, arrange demonstrations, communicate about service updates, protect systems, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, and understand how our site is used. We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with trusted hosting, analytics, communications, security, and support providers that process it on our instructions. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction. We require appropriate confidentiality and security commitments from relevant providers.

5. Healthcare and sensitive information

Medpia is healthcare software, but this public website is not intended for submitting patient records or emergency information. Please do not send health information through a demo request or ordinary email unless Medpia has provided an approved secure channel and your organization has authorized that use.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, our agreements, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, email hello@medpia.co. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires us to do so.

8. International processing

Medpia and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for professional and organizational use, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions or requests can be sent to hello@medpia.co.
